Truly an oldie but a goodie. Despite the Samson Go Mic being nearly 10 years old, it’s still one of the best USB microphones out there. While it’s not going to give you professional recording quality like the Shure SM7B will, this little mic is great for the traveling vlogger or beginning content creator.

It is indeed great for drum overheads, piano and some vocals. It’s a bit too boomy in the low mid-range for me for use on acoustic guitars. Overall, if you are in a budget studio or just starting a project studio, I would stock up on these mics as they are great in quality and price!
