Mepilex Border Lite® is a thin and conformable version of Mepilex Border, ideal for body contours and hard to dress areas and is available in smaller sizes. It is a self- adherent dressing that absorbs exudate, maintains a moist wound environment and minimizes the risk of peri-wound maceration.

How long does Mepilex Border Lite last?

How do you use mepilex Lite?

Apply the adherent side to the wound. Do not stretch. Mepilex® Lite should overlap dry surrounding skin by at least 2cm. If required, Mepilex® can be cut.

How often should mepilex be changed?

The Mepilex® Ag foam dressing can stay in place up to seven days. Only the outer dressing (gauze bandage) needs to be changed each day. Keep the dressing dry.

Is Mepilex Border Lite waterproof?

This product effectively minimizes the risk of periwound skin maceration and erosion. The film backing is moisture vapor permeable, waterproof and provides a bacterial barrier. Mepilex Border Lite is a thin, conformable self-adherent, bordered foam dressing.
