you just have to cross the street and you at the beginning of the beach, but it is about 4 blocks to get to the ocean. The walk to the boardwalk is 4 blocks but many more blocks to the shops and rides so if you don’t drive your car up the island to a parking lot I would suggest the Tram-car. over a year ago.
